Lisbon is the invited destination in the Stock of Lisbon Tourism Fair (BTL) next’s edition. The largest showcase of Tourism in Portugal, which will take place at the Lisbon International Fair (FIL) in Parque das Naçoes, between the 13th and the 17th of January 2010.

This will be the first participation as a guest destination on BTL - International Tourism Fair, an event in which Lisbon - City of Lisbon, Costa do Estoril, Mafra, Oeiras and Sintra - will present the best of its tourism, characterized by huge diversity and quality.

Occupying an exhibition area exceeding 500 m² in Pavilion 1 of FIL, the Lisbon Tourism Association will be entitled to national and international recognition both as city and resort destination, combining the offer of a capital with the features of a wide region with many excellent and differentiated resources.

The visitor is challenged in this context, to enjoy a unique experience, one of many reasons why the overwhelming majority of tourists that visit Lisbon´s region claim that the experience surpassed their expectations, making clear the desire to return.

Although the BTL 2009 has taken place in a climate of international crisis, a 21. Edition was considered as the best ever: had more than 71 thousand visitors, over 900 exhibitors and more than 40 international destinations.
